About Beast Blenders
What’s the difference between the Mighty 850 and the Mega 1200 Plus?
Both blenders deliver Beast's signature smooth blending performance. The main differences are power, capacity, and the blending vessels included.
The Mighty 850 is our most versatile blender, ideal for everyday smoothies, protein shakes, and frozen ingredients. It comfortably makes 1–2 servings.
The Mega 1200+ is our most powerful blender, designed for larger blends, thicker recipes, batch prep, and families. It comfortably makes 2–3 servings and includes both a 1200 mL Blending Vessel and a 500 mL Blending Vessel for added versatility.
What are the Blending Vessels made of?
Beast blending vessels are made of ultra-durable, BPA-free Tritan™ plastic. These vessels are uniquely designed to be about 2.5 times thicker than standard blending vessels to prevent warping and leaking. They also feature a grippy TPE overmold and internal ribs for better blending turbulence.
In what order should I fill my Blending Vessel?
For the smoothest blend, start with your liquids then move to ice and produce. Next, add your leafy greens and top with powders, nuts, nut butter, seeds, or honey. We promise it makes a difference – try it for yourself!
How do I pulse ingredients?
To pulse, press and release the Blend button in short intervals until you've reached your desired texture. Pulsing is ideal for chopping ingredients, creating chunkier textures, or controlling the consistency of your blend.
What do the lights on the front of the unit mean?
The LED lights communicate your blender's status throughout the blending process.
Solid white: Ready to blend.
Pulsing light: Blending cycle in progress.
Flashing lights: The blender may not be assembled correctly or the motor has activated a safety feature. Check that the vessel is securely attached and refer to the user manual if needed.
Where can I find the user manual for my blender?
A printed user manual is included in the box with every Beast blender. You can also access the latest digital version on the Beast website by visiting the Support section and selecting your blender model.
Care + Cleaning
How do I clean and care for my Beast® blender?
We recommend washing your blender blade with warm soapy water and a brush after every use. The Blending Vessels, lids, caps, and other accessories are all top-rack dishwashwer safe. Do not put the blender base in the dishwasher.
For more detailed care instructions for each Beast® Blender, please refer to the user manual that came with your product. You can also download the user manual for your respective blender above.
How often should I replace the blade?
We recommend replacing your blade every 6-12 months. To shop the blade compatible with your Beast® Blender, please visit this page.
Are the Mighty 850 and Mega 1200+ dishwasher safe?
Blending Vessels, Lids, Caps, and other accessories can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Do not wash the Blender Base in the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning your blender blade with warm soapy water and a brush after every use. All components of the Hydration Bottles can be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher.
For more detailed care instructions, please refer to the user manual that came with your product. You can also download the user manual for your respective blender below.
Troubleshooting
Why isn’t my blender blending?
If the indicator light is off, please ensure the blender is plugged in and use the orange power switch to turn the unit on. If the indicator light is on, the color of the light will reflect the state of the blender. If the indicator light is amber or orange, the blender is detecting that the unit is not properly assembled.
Please confirm that the Blade is firmly threaded onto the Blending Vessel, and then confirm that the Blade and Vessel are securely connected to the Blender Base by twisting onto the base until it clicks into place. At this point the indicator light should be solid white, which means the unit is ready to blend.
Why am I having trouble removing the Blade from the Blending Vessel?
This can happen because blending creates pressure inside the Blending Vessel, particularly when the Blending Vessel is over-filled. Be careful not to over-fill your Blending Vessel, and mind the max fill line.
If you're having issues removing the blade from the vessel, please set it down, allow your blend to settle, and try a few minutes later. If you are facing this issue repeatedly, please consider purchasing our wrench that will give you additional leverage when assembling or dis-assembling the blade and Blending Vessel.
Why are my ingredients not fully blended?
The most common reasons that ingredients may not be fully blended are 1) lack of sufficient liquid and 2) an over-filled Blending Vessel.
For best results, we recommend that at least 1/3 of your ingredients are liquid. When filling your Blending Vessel, be mindful not to fill past the max fill line, and add your ingredients in the following order: 1) liquids 2) ice 3) fresh or frozen produce 4) leafy greens 5) powders, seeds, and nut butters.
Upon assembling the Blade and flipping the Blending Vessel, the heavy ingredients added first will weigh down the ingredients that were added last, and the ingredients added last will interact with the Blade first. We also recommend pulsing ingredients 2-3 times with fresh ingredients or 3-5 times with frozen ingredients before initiating a blend cycle.
Safety
Can I blend hot ingredients, particularly liquids, in my Beast Blender?
NEVER BLEND HOT INGREDIENTS.
Doing so may cause excessive steam and pressure to build up in the Vessel, resulting in the potential risk of the Vessel and Blender Base separating and thereby possibly resulting in personal injury and/or property damage.
For more details and information on which ingredients are safe to blend, and other safety warnings, please refer to the Safety Warnings in the user manual.
Are Blending Vessels microwave safe?
No, Beast Health™ Vessels and accessories are not intended to be used in the microwave, which may result in damage to the accessories.
Can I blend carbonated ingredients or rising agents in my Beast Blender?
NEVER BLEND CARBONATED INGREDIENTS OR RISING AGENTS IN THE BEAST® BLENDER.
These ingredients incorporate air bubbles that produce foam and cause breads and cakes to rise. Blending these ingredients may cause excessive pressure buildup in the container and may cause personal injury to the user or property damage. Common leavening agents such as baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, cultured or fermented ingredients, egg whites, salt of hartshorn, whey protein, sesa moss, and yeast should not be blended in the Beast® Blender.
For more details and information on which ingredients are safe to blend, and other safety warnings, please refer to the Safety Warnings in the user manual.
