Nut Butter: the most versatile ingredient in your fridge. Use it as a dip, in salad dressing, on oatmeal, in your smoothies, and more! While it requires a little bit of work, this healthy alternative to peanut butter can be used in numerous ways and provides more vitamins and nutrients to your diet.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups
  • 1-3 teaspoons
  • as needed
  • almonds
  • olive oil
  • sea salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and pour your almonds onto a baking sheet.
  2. Toast your almonds for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Once almonds are cool, transfer them to your 500mL Blending Vessel.
  4. Pulse 5-7 times to chop up the almonds, and then initiate the 1-minute blend cycle to blend until creamy
  5. Add oil to help the mixture blend if needed.
  6. Add salt to taste.
